Terminus, the first Zombies map in BO6, features an introductory cutscene where Raptor One is shown. However, the helicopter is nowhere to be found, as he and the rest of the team have been imprisoned for five years. "You might be lucky enough to live through another match after you clear the area."
"You can continue to explore the island, facing tougher and tougher crowds of ghoulish entities until you succumb to the threats," Treyarch adds as an alternative. You get to decide. However, there will be instances when you are not given the option and must abandon your group in order to touch grass. That is precisely the use case in which Exfil excels.
On the other hand, single gamers might not need exfil. The "save and quit" function is new to Call of Duty Zombies in Battle of the Bands 6, allowing lone players to store their progress while playing the Zombies game and come back to it later. It is a groundbreaking, great quality-of-life feature.

How to Exfil in Black Ops 6 Zombies
The functionality of Exfil is very similar to that of Black Ops Cold War Zombies. You can initiate the ability to Exfil after round 10, and to do so, you must interact with the Exfil site (shown by an icon on your HUD) using the square button on PS5 or the X button on Xbox, etc., to summon Raptor One, which will then remove you from the area and terminate the round.
You have 90 seconds from the time you're summoned to reach the Exfil site, which must be free of zombies before Raptor One can land and collect you. You have exactly one minute to clear the landing spot before the Exfil timer runs out; otherwise, you risk having your helicopter shot down and losing all of your hard-earned progress. So, before you board, make sure the area is absolutely empty.
Use the Exit Strategy GobbleGum if you'd rather not wait for an Exfil to show up. To help you exit as quickly as possible, this GobbleGum will make the Exfil option appear immediately regardless of the round you're in.
The difficulty of Exfil increases as the round number increases. Elite adversaries, like the Abomination, will appear and make your life much more difficult than you had anticipated. At least you'll get a neat failure cutscene if you don't clear the landing zone.
After a few more rounds of killing zombies, you will have another opportunity to Exfil if you choose not to. Otherwise, you should do your utmost to survive and emerge victorious, earning plenty of experience and other benefits.
