The Cowabunga Cranked LTM throws players into a relentless horde with three crucial Pizza Power-ups, each designed to help you survive the onslaught.
Pizza Power-Ups: Your Key to Survival
- Turtle Power:
- Grants a temporary health boost.
- Equips players with Pack-A-Punch 3 Legendary melee weapons, turning you into a shell-shocking force.
- Pizza Box:
- Instantly refills the Cranked Timer to its maximum duration, giving you a crucial breathing room.
- Slice-O-Pie:
- Adds a partial amount of time to the Cranked Timer, extending your survival window.
Cranked to the Max: How Cowabunga Cranked Works
This LTM cranks up the difficulty to eleven. The Cranked Timer is your constant adversary. Here's how it works:
- Initial Activation:
- The timer starts at 1 minute and 30 seconds after your first zombie kill.
- Relentless Countdown:
- You must continuously eliminate zombies to prevent the timer from reaching zero, which results in instant elimination.
- Time Management:
- Each zombie kill adds a small amount of time, but the continuous zombie spawns make it a constant struggle.
- No Breathing Room:
- Unlike standard modes, there are no breaks between rounds. This makes it significantly harder to utilize crafting tables, weapon upgrades, or Ammo Mods from the Arsenal Machine.
- Pizza Power-up Spawns:
- Pizza Power-ups spawn throughout the map, with Slice-O-Pie being the most frequent.
- Donny's Time Stopper:
- All players are equipped with Donny’s Time Stopper Field Upgrade, a permanent ability that freezes the Cranked Timer for one minute.
- Important Note: While the timer is frozen, killing zombies or collecting Pizza Power-ups will not add time to the timer.
