• Brain Rot: This ammo mod inflicts toxic damage on enemies, poisoning them with each shot. Its unique ability lies in its potential to turn ordinary or special zombies into temporary allies, creating chaotic and unpredictable battle scenarios.
• Cryo Freeze: Dealing fross damage, this ammo mod slows down enemies, giving players a tactical advantage. With each icy bullet, foes become increasingly sluggish, making them easier targets and providing precious moments to regroup or strategize.
• Dead Wire: This electric-based ammo mod delivers shock damage, stunning enemies and disrupting their attacks. The real power lies in its ability to generate a damaging electric field around the stunned target, creating a chain reaction that can decimate nearby zombies.
• Napalm Burst: Igniting enemies with fiery bullets, this ammo mod inflicts burning damage and can quickly spread to nearby foes. Its incendiary properties make it an effective tool for crowd control and area denial, especially in tight corridors or enclosed spaces.
• Shadow Rift: Harnessing the power of darkness, this ammo mod delivers shadow damage and has a chance to create black holes on impact. These cosmic anomalies pull in nearby zombies, disorienting them and creating opportunities for follow-up attacks. Additionally, the black hole can eject zombies at high speed, acting as a surprise offensive maneuver.

  Black Ops 6 Zombies introduces a dynamic new layer of strategy with five distinct Ammo Mods, each capable of dramatically altering combat encounters. Veterans will recognize the familiar potency of Brain Rot, Cryo Freeze, Dead Wire, and Napalm Burst, carried over from their appearances in MWZ and Black Ops Cold War. However, it's the debut of Shadow Rift that truly ignites anticipation. This innovative mod not only delivers amplified "shadow" damage but also possesses the uncanny ability to teleport enemies into the sky, temporarily removing them from the fray. Such crowd control is invaluable during the frantic, overwhelming later stages of a match, buying players precious moments to regroup and strategize.   To further deepen customization and tactical options, Treyarch has unveiled Augments. These enhancements supercharge Ammo Mods with additional effects, unlocking fresh and exciting combat possibilities. For example, Shadow Rift can be augmented to cause teleported zombies to land in chaotic piles or explode upon impact, creating even more chaotic and unpredictable battlegrounds.  

Ammo Mods are essential upgrades in Black Ops 6 Zombies, offering significant enhancements to your arsenal. There are two primary methods to acquire Ammo Mods:

 

• 1. Arsenal Machines: These strategically placed machines, found in Terminus and Liberty Falls, allow you to purchase Ammo Mods using Salvage. Salvage is a currency earned by eliminating enemies, often appearing as distinctive "small piles of junk with a green outline." While Arsenal Machines provide a reliable source for Ammo Mods, expect to invest a substantial amount of Salvage, as these upgrades are highly sought-after and likely to be priced accordingly.
• 2. Ground Loot: Ammo Mods can also be obtained as rare random drops from defeated enemies. However, relying solely on ground loot is not advisable, as the drop rate is significantly lower compared to purchasing them from Arsenal Machines. Patience and perseverance are key if you choose to pursue this method.

 

It's important to note that the exact cost of each Ammo Mod in Salvage will be revealed upon the game's release on October 25. Until then, focus on accumulating Salvage and strategically planning your Ammo Mod purchases to maximize your zombie-slaying efficiency.
