Approach from Behind: Carefully maneuver your character to approach the Z-Rex from its rear.

Trigger Tail Smash: As you get within close proximity to the Z-Rex's tail, it will execute a sweeping tail smash attack. This attack is designed to launch players into the air and inflicts a significant amount of damage (reportedly over 100).

Mount During Airborne State: While your character is airborne as a result of the tail smash, a crucial window of opportunity will appear. At the precise moment, press the interact button. If timed correctly, your character will mount the Z-Rex.

Limited Control and Weapon Swap: Once successfully mounted, it's important to note that you cannot directly control the Z-Rex's movement. Your character will simply stand on its back. Additionally, your currently equipped weapon will automatically switch to your melee weapon, and you will be unable to use your ranged weapons while riding the Z-Rex.
