In the game, they present Big Steve as a purple bird, where they show he owns Ember's Deet that he stole when he scared her while she was stealing a U-chip from a corpse during the start of Beyond a Steel Sky. Your mission now is to retrieve the Deet that she stole to gain access to Union City. With this guide we will help you complete it.
First of all you should know that Union City can be found near the broken bridge that Hobbsworth is fixing.
In order for you to steal Big Steve's Deet, you must get the Mini-Ks from the back of Wendell's truck, but you must also scare the birds in front of him. You can do this by talking to Pixel to find out that her brother Voxel is hiding in the garden, inside the big tire.
Once you've spoken to Voxel in a stealthy way, toss him to the Gang-Gang birds surrounding the back of the truck. After they're out of your way, talk to Wendell about the secret to opening her truck, which is nothing more than hitting the bumper, making a template, and then opening the doors.Once you have the Mini-Ks, go great Steve and choose the "lure" option. The Mini-Ks in your hand emit a different stench, and you can attract Big Steve as long as you don't run too far from him.
You can throw the Mini-Ks on the ground or in any of the dust bins, but you can't grab the Deet. Instead, he throws the Mini-Ks into the holographic waterfall to stun Big Steve.
After Big Steve hits the fence, he can pick up Ember's Deet in front of the waterfall to give it and receive a new U-chip.
