Avowed: Find Captain Henqua’s Spoils
Locating the Treasure Map
Captain Henqua's Spoils treasure map is located at the lighthouse in the western part of Calviger's Landing. Once you've reached The Living Lands, head south on the map to find Calviger's Landing and then proceed west.To reach the map, you'll need to climb the lighthouse. Utilize the ledges and scaffolding surrounding the structure, carefully making your way up. The treasure map awaits you at the top.Finding the Treasure: The Wind and Wave Shield
With the map in hand, it's time to findthe treasure. Descend from the lighthouse and head to the nearby river. Follow the river north until you reach a broken bridge. This bridge islocated northeast of the Old Pargrun Wall and the Western Pargrun WallBeacon fast travel point.
Proceed tothe southern end of the broken bridge and prepare to descend to theriverbed. Swim west, looking for an opening that leads to a cave. Onceinside the cave and on solid ground, you'll find a chest containing thetreasure: the unique Wind and Wave shield.
The Wind and Wave Shield: Stats and Upgrades
The Wind and Wave shield is a Superb quality shield, offering two valuable buffs:
- +10% Movement Speed: Increases your overall movement speed.
- +20% Frost Accumulation Resistance: Reduces the rate at which you accumulate frost, providing valuable protection against cold-based attacks.
Its Superb quality makes it significantly more powerful than other shieldsavailable in Dawnshore. You can further upgrade it to Legendary quality with the right materials, such as Glasswood Branches and Adra Ban,though this will require rare resources.
