Holder, though visibly affected by Oberon's insidious influence, offers a fragile promise of escape. However, his assistance comes at a price: Sample One, a purified fragment of Oberon, locked away within the depths of The Interchange's Medical department. This quest plunges you into the heart of a biohazardous nightmare, where mutated horrors lurk in the shadows.

The journey to the Medical wing is a perilous undertaking, demanding both cunning and courage. Your initial objective is to restore power to The Interchange, a task that begins in the Central Processor Room. Follow the faded, yet persistent, signs that guide you through the labyrinthine corridors.
Once inside the Central Processor Room, you'll encounter the Bootstrap System Terminal. To initiate the power sequence, insert an Atomic Battery, a crucial artifact in this ravaged world. This act awakens the dormant systems, but the process is far from complete. Four Data Stores remain offline, each requiring individual activation.
Strategic use of another Atomic Battery on Data Store Charlie grants access to a lock release, opening a path to the lower levels of The Interchange. A left turn leads to the quarantine shutter, a barrier separating you from the Medical department's grim secrets.

In the Main Reception area, a detour to the right past the Pneumatic Tube, followed by an immediate right turn, leads to a secluded corner. Here, an audio log titled "Holder Is Up To Something" provides a crucial clue: Dr. Holder's hidden lab beneath St. Katherine's Church in Wyndham Village. Coincidentally, the Church Cellar Key is found adjacent to this log, pointing you towards your next destination.
St. Katherine's Church, located atcoordinates 33.3 E, 78.0 N in Wyndham Village, presents a facade ofnormalcy amidst the surrounding chaos. Inside, Vicar McHenry initiatesthe St. Katherine's Church Lead, a murder mystery that, whileintriguing, must be temporarily set aside. Your focus remains on Dr.Holder.
Descend into the church cellar, and locate a white wooden door leading to theForgotten Cellar. The Church Cellar Key unlocks this hidden passage,revealing Dr. Holder's clandestine laboratory. His unnaturally blue eyes and skin betray his exposure to Oberon, yet he claims to have resistedits full effects using an Experimental Innoculation. This inoculation,found on his desk, grants you the Infection Resistance skill and unlocks potential Radiation Resistance and Healing Boost skills.
Dr. Holder's exposition unveils the grim reality of the quarantine zone,and his need for Sample One, a purified Oberon sample. He providesHolder's Keycard, granting access to the lower level of the Medicaldepartment, where this crucial artifact is hidden.

Proceed through malfunctioning electric doors, and activate the 'Systems Power' button. Descend the steps near the sealed Auditorium doors, and locatethe 'Lockdown Control' lever on a console. Pulling this lever opens theAuditorium doors, revealing a grotesque scene.
