Atomfall: How To Find Mother Jago's Book

Casterfell Woods:

• Mother Jago resides in the far northeastern corner of Casterfell Woods.
• Her location is at The Old Mine (27.2E, 92.2N).
• This location is relevant for players progressing Iris's questline from the Wyndham Village bakery.

Initiating the Quest:

• Speak to Mother Jago at The Old Mine.
• She requests your assistance in retrieving her book from the Druids' castle.
• Agreeing to help advances the Mother Jago storyline.

Retrieving the Book:

Druid Castle Location:

• The Druid castle is located in the southwestern corner of Casterfell Woods.

Entrance Selection:

• Main Entrance (19.6E, 83.7N): Requires a key to access the book's location.
• Side Entrance (20.6E, 83.7N): Offers a direct path to the book, the Strange Tonic recipe, and an Atomic Battery.
• Recommended: Use the side entrance for efficiency.

Navigating the Castle (Side Entrance):

• Once inside the side entrance, follow these steps:
  • As you approach the fork in the road where the Druid is and the BARD crate to the right, go straight.
  • Loot the BARD crate on the left, then head down the stairs and take down the High Priestess (make sure to grab the Atomic Battery)
  • Follow the path down the stairs, taking out enemies along the way.
  • Cross the bridge next to the blue glow, then turn left up the stairs, thencross the bridge to the right (be wary of the bat swarm following you)
  • Follow the path and take a left, unless you want to kill all enemies nearbyfirst, in which case clear them on the right then continue on the left.
  • Continue up the path until it winds to the right, then go up the ladder.
  • Go straight down the stairs and up the next set right ahead, then take out the enemies.
  • Go through to the room on the opposite end of the clearing, and look to the right to find the book.

Rewards for Retrieving the Book:

Returning to Mother Jago:

• Return to Mother Jago at The Old Mine with the book.

Dialogue Options:

• Selecting the "Bargaining" dialogue option results in Mother Jago giving you three Training Stims.
• Training Stims can be used to purchase unlocked skills.

Advancing the Storyline:

• Completing this task leads to the next objective: delivering an item to the Speaking Cave.
• Following this objective progresses the Mother Jago storyline, potentially leading to her ending.
