It is another tame addition to the game that has a unique ability that allows it to wrap itself through hyperspace and take anything that is close by and can pass through creatures, structures and other natural formations which gives it a lot of speed when attacking. 

Also, it is quite easy to tame, but as not everyone knows how to do it, we prepared this guide to show you how to do it.

The first thing you need to do is to find a cannon and a Tek skiff. Once you get both items you will have to use the cannon in the Tek Skiff to teleport to the moon biome where you can find the creatures you are looking for almost everywhere floating.

To shoot down the whales, a single cannon shot may be enough, making things much easier in some cases, because this will depend only on the level the whale has.

Regarding the favorite food of these creatures you should know that it is an exceptional croquette which you can get from any large egg, as well as raw meat or raw lamb.

If you manage to get hold of an Astrocetus Tek Saddle, you'll be able to use the three gun turrets and the bomber mode that the whale has.
