Every seasoned Raider knows that true power in the world of Arc Raiders isn't just found on the battlefield—it's cultivated. A crucial part of your progression involves upgrading your trusty companion, Scrappy the Rooster, back at your base. To push his enhancements to the next level, you'll need to venture out and forage for a specific, sometimes elusive resource: mushrooms.If you've found yourself scouring the landscape without any luck, you're in the right place. This guide will walk you through the most reliable mushroom hunting grounds on the initial Dam Battlegrounds map, turning a frustrating search into a successful foraging trip.

Prime Mushroom Foraging Locations on the Dam Battlegrounds

While resources in Arc Raiders can spawn randomly, certain areas have a much higher chance of yielding the fungal goods. Here are the top spots to add to your looting route.1. The Hydroponic Dome ComplexHead north of the Water Treatment Control point, and you'll discover the Hydroponic Dome Complex. This zone is a hotspot for high-value loot, containing a mix of Nature, Industrial, and Security items. Your target lies in the southwest corner of this complex, where you'll find a large facility featuring several rectangular, muddy water pools.What to look for: Carefully check the edges of these murky pools. Mushrooms have a chance to spawn here, nestled in the damp soil. Be aware that this spot shares its spawn with another plant called Great Mullein, so don't be discouraged if you find that instead. It's still an excellent first stop, especially if you begin your match on this side of the map.A Raider's Tip: This facility can sometimes be patrolled by rolling Fireball enemies. Defeating and looting them can grant you Fireball Burners, which are not only useful for combat but are also required to complete specific Feats.

2. The Wreckage Area Near a Fallen Robot

For your second reliable location, make your way to the Wreckage area,situated southwest of the Testing Annex and just east of a Scrap Yard.Among the debris and shattered metal, keep an eye out for a large,busted-up robot.

What to look for: We found mushrooms growing on a fallen tree log tucked behind some ofthis wreckage. This spot is a great reminder to check natural elementslike logs and stumps, even in the most industrial-looking ruins.

3. The South Swamp Outpost & Old Battleground

If the first two spots come up empty, expand your search to the westernside of the map. The areas around the South Swamp Outpost and the OldBattleground are rich with swampy, overgrown terrain that mushroomslove.

What to look for: Many players report consistent success finding mushrooms growing on the sides of trees and on rotting logs in this region. It's a broader areato cover, but the natural environment makes it a prime candidate forfungal growth.

Maximizing Your Mushroom Hunt

The key to a successful foraging run is efficiency. Plan a route that letsyou hit all three of these locations in one session. By systematicallychecking the Hydroponic Domes, the Wreckage, and the South Swamp, youdramatically increase your odds of walking away with at least oneprecious mushroom.
