- Defeating them is essential for quests and resource farming, as they drop Surveyor Vaults, Motion Cores, and mechanical components.
How to Spot ARC Surveyors
Finding these machines is half the challenge:- Spawn Rarity: They can appear on any map, but spawn rates are low.
- Beacon Signal: Look for intermittent blue beams shooting into the sky. This beacon flickers on and off, so patience is key.
- Large Maps: Because Arc Raiders maps are expansive, scanning the horizon immediately after spawning into a match increases your chances of spotting them.
Best Strategies to Destroy ARC Surveyors
ARC Surveyors are designed to escape rather than fight, so you’ll need the right tools and tactics:- Showstopper Grenades:
- Emit an electric pulse that temporarily disables the Surveyor.
- Grants about 10 seconds to inflict damage before it regains mobility.
- Chain multiple grenades to keep it immobilized.
- Snap Blast Grenades:
- Stick them directly onto the Surveyor’s body.
- Three well-placed blasts are usually enough to destroy it quickly.
