How to Keep Your Promise to Kylie in Abiotic Factor

In Abiotic Factor, you can find a peculiar and poignant entity named Kylie, a disembodied brain that has a special request for you. By completing a specific task for her, you not only fulfill a promise but are also rewarded with a valuable item that boosts your experience points. This guide will walk you through the steps, from gathering the necessary items to navigating the treacherous path to Kylie.

How to Get the EXP Chip Brain (Kylie) in Abiotic Factor

Before you begin this quest, you'll need to prepare a few things:

• DisoR Device: The most crucial item is the DisoR device. If you haven't crafted one yet, you'll need to defeat one of the robots to acquire the necessary parts.
• Reservoir Grow: You'll also need some Reservoir Grow, a glowing plant that can be harvested by diving underwater in certain areas. A diving suit is highly recommended for this part of the journey to prevent drowning.

Start at the TRA System

Enter the Electrical Grid: Begin in the main hallway of the TRA system. Follow the path straight ahead toward the building labeled "Electrical Grid."

Descend the Shaft: Once inside, jump down the shaft. Using a vine, a jetpack, or a ladder can help you descend safely.

Navigate the Ducts: When you land, run to the end of the hallway. Take a right and enter a small duct. Crawl through this narrow space until you drop into another area.

Dive into the Water: You will land in water. Dive in and head through the next doorway. The path to the right will be locked, so ignore it and continue straight into the shaft ahead.

Meet the Brain

Inside the room at the end of the shaft, you will find a talking brain. This is Kylie.

• Conversation: You can chat with Kylie to learn her story and her wish to betransferred to a neural bridge. There may be a zombie nearby, so beready for a fight. You might also be able to loot a helmet, a suit, orsome money from a body in the room.
• The Mission: Kylie's goal is to be transferred to hardware, and this is where your DisoR device comes in.
• Swim to the Final Chamber: After speaking with her, you'll need to leave the room, dive straightdown, and swim under some debris and through a doorway. A pipe willguide you even further down. Although you can do this without a divingsuit, your oxygen will be low, so you must move quickly.

Install the Chip and Claim Your Reward

Reach the Final Chamber: Once you reach the final chamber, interact with Kylie again.

Repair the Neural Bridge: With the DisoR device in your inventory, you'll see a prompt to repairthe neural bridge. This will allow the brain to transfer.

Claim the EXP Chip: Once the transfer is complete, you will be rewarded with the DisoR device, which now functions as an EXP chip. This special item gives you a 10% experience boost across the board, making it an excellent reward for your efforts.
