In the latter half of version 1.3, Wuthering Waves gained a new 4-Star Resonator named Youhu. Her kit is powerful for a 4-Star unit, and she can switch between supporting DPS and healing with ease, depending on your playstyle. Unusually, the character's kit mechanics incorporate random number generation, enabling her to execute acts that bestow various battlefield bonuses.

Youhu's Standard Strike

The four separate attacks that make up Youhu's Basic Attack string inflict Glacio damage. By briefly pressing and releasing the Normal Attack button, she can unleash her Heavy Attack, Frostfall, which awards her with an Antique of her choosing. Once you press the Normal Attack button, this Antique can be locked in and transformed into an Auspice.

Forte Youhu's Trail

The connection between Youhu's Normal Attacks and her Forte Circuit is strong. When Youhu gets four Auspices, she can unleash her Forte Circuit attack by pressing the Normal Attack button. This assault deals Glacio damage depending on the mix of Auspices she has at the moment.

Based on the auspice combination that Youhu presently has, the following effects can be triggered:

She can lower her foes' Vibration Strength with Free Verse if she possesses four distinct Auspices.
With two matching Auspices, she can activate Antithesis, a 70% boost to her Forte Circuit attack damage.
She may use Double Pun, which restores extra health for party members, if she has two matching pairs of Auspices.
With Triplet, her Forte Circuit attack DMG increases by 175%, and she can only use it if she has three matching Auspices.
She can unleash Perfect Rhyme, which simultaneously activates the powers of Free Verse, Double Pun, and Triplet, if she has all four identical Auspices.

Youhu's Abilities in Resonance

Attacking surrounding adversaries, Youhu's Resonance Skill deals Glacio damage and restores HP to party members. Along with that, she has the ability to execute Lucky Draw once, which gives her an Antique. With her Normal Attack, she can lock it in and transform it into an Auspice.

Each component of Youhu's arsenal relies on one of four Antiques, which together have the following effects:

Use the Chime ability to deliver Glacio damage to foes and weaken their Vibration Strength.
Use a Ruyi to stomp on foes, dealing Glacio damage with a multiplier of two.
Ding: When you ram into adversaries while riding a Ding, you deal Glacio damage and break their stance.
Throwing a mask at foes gives Glacio damage and draws in any adversaries it lands on.
The Release of Youhu's Resonance
After Youhu's Resonance Liberation causes Glacio damage, a popup similar to a Quick Time Event (QTE) appears, allowing you to select one of her four Antiques.

To finish your combo, choose an Antique based on what you require. A random Antique will be assigned if you do not select one.

How to play Youhu in Wuthering Waves

If you want to be a good Youhu player, the key is to maximize the damage your Forte Circuit attacks can do by collecting matching Antiques.

Performing a Resonance Skill and casting Resonance Liberation while holding down Your Normal Attack button will grant Youhu an Antique, as mentioned above. She can also use her Intro Skill or do a Dodge Counter to get Antiques.

Maintaining this rotation while playing Youhu will let you to fully utilize her kit:

To get one Antique, use Youhu's Intro Skill to turn her on. To turn this Antique into an Auspice, use her Normal Attack.
To acquire an additional Antique, use Youhu's Resonance Skill. Repeat the process to turn it into an Auspice using her Normal Attack.
You can activate Youhu's Heavy Attack by holding down her Basic Attack; doing so will offer you an additional random Antique. Youhu may transform an Antique into an Auspice with his Normal Attack.
Use her Resonance Liberation, a Dodge Counter, or another Heavy Attack to gain the fourth Antique. Using her Normal Attack, you can turn the fourth Antique into an Auspice.
Holding down Youhu's Normal assault button will unleash her Forte Circuit assault after you obtain four Auspices. Earlier, we established that Youhu's assault kinds vary according to the Auspices you possess.
Switch to a different damage-dealing character to use Youhu's Outro Skill. This skill will increase the incoming character's Coordinated Attack damage by 100%. Then you should do this rotation again.
