Where to find the Elixir for Nian Suichang in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, finding the Elixir for Nian Suichang is a key quest that leads you to a challenging boss fight and allows you to progress the story. Nian Suichang is an NPC who, after you talk to him, will give you a powerful Bone Whistle that can summon him for assistance in boss fights.

Wuchang Fallen Feathers: find the Elixir for Nian Suichang

The quest to find the Elixir for Nian Suichang begins just after you leave the Lightzen Temple.

Talk to Nian Suichang:

• Upon exiting the Lightzen Temple, you will have to travel across some streams.
• You will find Nian Suichang leaning against a tree. Speak with him.
• He will explain that he needs an Elixir for his sick brother and asks you to travel to the Shu Sanctum to find it.
• As a reward, he gives you the Bone Whistle, a key item that allows you to summon him to help you during boss encounters.

Travel to Shu Sanctum:

• After speaking with him, head up the stairs to your right and then go left.
• Follow the path until you encounter an Empowered Ming Soldier. Defeat this enemy.
• Continue up the stairs, and you will eventually reach the Shu Sanctum.

Find the Boss:

• Once you are in the Shu Sanctum, activate the Shrine and speak with Nian Suichang again, who will also be at the Sanctum.
• Head up the stairs to the third floor of the Sanctum and open the doors to the boss area.

Defeat the Boss:

• Inside, you will encounter the boss Feathered Priest - Lu Bingzhang.
• You must defeat this boss to obtain the item you're looking for.

How to Defeat Feathered Priest - Lu Bingzhang

Feathered Priest - Lu Bingzhang is a tricky boss, but with the right strategy, you can defeat him.

• Dodge, Dodge, Dodge: The key to this fight is to master your dodge timing. The boss is highly agile and uses both melee and ranged attacks.
• Bone Whistle: This is the perfect opportunity to use the Bone Whistle that Nian Suichang gave you. Summon him to draw the boss's attentionand provide a distraction, allowing you to get in free hits.
• Attack Patterns to Watch For:
  • Aerial Attacks: The boss will often jump into the air and perform various aerial attacks.
  • Red Glowing Spear: He can throw a powerful, red glowing spear at you from a distance.
  • Ground Pound: He will sometimes thump his staff into the ground, causing a large AoE (Area of Effect) attack that you must dodge.
• The Reward: Once you defeat the Feathered Priest - Lu Bingzhang, you will receive the Mercurial Blood, which is the Elixir you were tasked with finding.

After defeating the boss, simply go back downstairs and hand the Mercurial Blood over to Nian Suichang to complete the quest.
