How To Unlock All Of Tao Qing's Stock in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Tao Qing is a valuable shopkeeper you'll want to visit regularly. Expanding his stock is crucial for acquiring powerful new gear and unique items, including some of the game's most potent pendants and clothing sets. While the process is relatively straightforward, the quest to unlock all of his wares will take you across the entire game.This guide will explain how to expand Tao Qing's shop, complete his miniquest, and outline the items you can unlock, which can also help you earn the "Well Traveled" achievement.

Wuchang: How To Unlock All Of Tao Qing's Stock

Tao Qing is located in the Shu Sanctum, and you will be returning to this area frequently throughout your journey. His stock is expanded by giving him specific items that are dropped by bosses. Each time you defeat a main boss (an enemy with a name and a health bar), you will receive a unique item that can be given to Tao Qing.

"Well Traveled" Achievement: Fully expanding Tao Qing's shop requires you to give him a total of 17 different boss-dropped items. Doing so will unlock the "Well Traveled" achievement.
Lore and Exposition: In addition to expanding his inventory, giving Tao Qing a boss item will also trigger unique dialogue from him, providing valuable lore and backstory about the boss you just defeated.

Tao Qing's Miniquest: The Scenic Painting

There is a small, two-part miniquest you can undertake for Tao Qing in the Shu Sanctum area that rewards you with a minor shop upgrade and some extra dialogue.

Part 1: Starting the Quest

In the village proper near the Shu Sanctum, find a house with papers on the door and a bandit knocking.

Knock on the door and speak with the woman inside. She will tell you about Tao Qing's past sin.

Return to Tao Qing and speak to him. When given the dialogue option, choose: "Brrr... The water's freezing." This will make him uncomfortable and progress the quest.

Part 2: Finding the Scenic Painting

You must now travel to the Worship's Rise area. To get there, cross the invisible bridge near the Shu Sanctum's front entrance.

Travel along the main road and up the hill into the village.

Continue through the village until you reach a miniboss surrounded by fire pots.

When facing the miniboss, look to your left to find an open area that leads to Annalum.

At the end of the Annalum area, you'll go up a set of stairs into a courtyard.

Defeat the shield monster miniboss in the courtyard to acquire the Scenic Painting.

Return to Tao Qing and give him the painting to complete the miniquest and receive a minor shop upgrade.
