Spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty can be used to great advantage in the game. From the basic spells of healing and protection, to the more powerful spells of destruction, the spells of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty can be a powerful tool in the player’s arsenal. The different Virtues of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty each have their own unique spells, and can be leveled up in order to unlock even more powerful magic. 

Wood Virtue


The Wood Virtue is the most basic of the Virtues. Its spells include healing and protection, as well as basic attacks. As you level up the Wood Virtue, more powerful spells are unlocked. Some of these spells include the ability to heal multiple players, protection from damage, and a number of attacks that can be used to great effect against your enemies.

Fire Virtue


Fire Virtue is the most offensively oriented of the virtues, and is used to boost the power of attack spells. Fire Virtue spells focus on dealing damage and debuffing enemies. They are also capable of dealing AoE (Area of Effect) damage and can be used to weaken multiple enemies at once.

  • Overview of Fire Virtue: Fire Virtue spells are divided into three categories: Fire, Lightning, and Necromancy. Fire spells focus on dealing damage and include Fireball, Fire Storm, and Fireblast. Lightning spells focus on debuffing enemies and include Thunderclap, Lightning Strike, and Lightning Bolt. Necromancy spells focus on dealing AoE damage and include Corrupting Touch, Life Drain, and Shadow Bolt.

They are also capable of dealing AoE (Area of Effect) healing and shielding, and can be used to heal or protect multiple allies at once.

They are also capable of dealing AoE (Area of Effect) damage and healing, and can be used to weaken or heal multiple enemies or allies at once.

  • Overview of Metal Virtue: Metal Virtue spells are divided into three categories: Metal, Arcane, and Holy. Metal spells focus on buffing allies and include Iron Skin, Steel Skin, and Adamant Skin. Arcane spells focus on debuffing enemies and include Arcane Blast, Arcane Explosion, and Arcane Bolt. Holy spells focus on dealing AoE damage and healing and include Lay on Hands, Light of Redemption, and Holy Shock.

Water Virtue

Water Virtue is the most magically oriented of the virtues, and is used to boost the power of utility spells. Water Virtue spells focus on buffing allies and healing allies. They are also capable of dealing AoE (Area of Effect) damage and shielding, and can be used to weaken or protect multiple enemies or allies at once.

  • Overview of Water Virtue: Water Virtue spells are divided into three categories: Water, Frost, and Restoration. Water spells focus on buffing allies and include Water Shield, Water Wall, and Water Armor. Frost spells focus on healing allies and include Frost Shield, Frost Nova, and Frost Bolt. Restoration spells focus on dealing AoE damage and shielding and include Healing Rain, Chain Heal, and Prayer of Mending.

Praying at a Battle Flag


The Battle Flag is a special location in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty that allows the player to pray for spells.
