You can encounter various intriguingEaster eggs in different sectors of the Warzone Verdansk map. Here arethe locations and descriptions of the ones that have been discovered sofar:
Destruction of the Verdansk Calendar:
- Location: Inside Bunker 1.
- Details: Within Bunker 1, you'll find a calendar that is turned to the month of April. Notably, the 22nd of the month is circled in red. If you were to check a calendar for April 2021, you would find that the 22nd fell on the same day of the week as the circled day on the in-game calendar. This is a direct reference to April 22, 2021, the date when the original Verdansk map was destroyed by a nuclearexplosion. The calendar also features a picture depicting a nuke going off, further solidifying this connection to the map's past destruction.
Nuke Shell:
- Location: Just outside the Stadium POI.
- Details: The remnants of the very nuke that led to the destruction of theoriginal Verdansk can still be found on the current map. Look for the damaged nuke shell lying on the ground just outside the perimeter of the Stadium point ofinterest. The provided images offer a precise visual guide to itslocation. This serves as a stark reminder of the cataclysmic event thatreshaped the landscape.
Zombies from the Vodianoy:
- Location: Near the location of the former Prison POI.
- Details: On the original Verdansk map, the introduction of zombies was tied to the arrival of a ship named the Vodianoy, which had crashed just off the coast near the Prison. If you venture to the same coastal area where the Prison once stood, you will now find three rotting zombie corpses lying on the ground. - Details: Within the largest building situated to the north of the Quarry point of interest, you can find an Aetherium Vial simply resting on a bed. However, in this instance, the vial is purely an environmental detail.You cannot currently interact with it in any way, nor can you shoot itopen. However, as the name implies, these shacks are currently locked, and there is no known method to open them at this time.
