The Salvager DMZ mission takes place in Warzone 2's South Sawah Village. Your goal is to locate and retrieve contraband packages from the various sunken ships in the area. You'll have to dive underwater, venture into the vessels, and locate hidden packages to complete the mission.

Travel to South Sawah Village

To get started, you'll need to travel to the South Sawah Village. This is a large area located in the northern section of the DMZ. Once you reach the village, you'll need to locate the sunken ship and begin the mission. 

  • Journey to Sunken Ship: Once you reach the village, you'll need to make your way to the sunken ship. This will be located in the middle of the village. Take out any bots that are guarding the area and then enter the vessel. 
  • Take Out Any Bots: Before entering the vessel, you'll need to take out any bots that are guarding the area. This will ensure your safety and make the mission easier. 
  • Enter Vessel: Once the bots are taken care of, you'll need to enter the vessel. The entrance is located at the back of the ship. Climb up the platform and you'll come across the first contraband package. 
  • Locate Contraband Package: Once you climb up the platform, you'll be able to spot the first contraband package. Take it and then make your way to the next location. 

Continue on to Sarrif Bay


Once you've taken the first package, you'll need to make your way to Sarrif Bay. This is located to the north of the village. Board the semi-sunken ship and then enter the tower section. 

  • Board Semi-Sunken Ship: Once you reach Sarrif Bay, you'll need to board the semi-sunken ship. This vessel is located near the shore. Take out any bots that are guarding the area and then enter the tower section. 
  • Enter Tower Section: Once you board the vessel, you'll need to enter the tower section. This section is located at the back of the ship. Turn left and then move around until you spot the hidden contraband package. 
  • Spot Hidden Contraband Package: Once you turn left, you'll need to move around until you spot the hidden contraband package. It will be located in a corner of the room. Make sure to take it before moving on to the next location. 
  • Reach Package: Once you spot the package, you'll need to reach it. This can be done by climbing up the platforms located in the tower section. Make sure to take the package before moving on to the next location. 

Final Contraband Package in Al Mazrah


The final contraband package can be found in Al Mazrah. This is located in the eastern section of the DMZ. Dive underwater and then grab the item from the sunken ship. 

  • Dive Underwater: Once you reach Al Mazrah, you'll need to dive underwater to reach the sunken ship. This is located in the middle of the area. Make sure to take the item before moving on to the next location. 
  • Grab Item from Sunken Ship: Once you reach the sunken ship, you'll need to grab the item from it. This item is not visible from the ground and is not marked on the Tac Map. Make sure to take it quickly and don't stay underwater for too long.
