Dark mode, which reverses the light and dark colors, so the background appears darker while the text appears lighter, is only available for the iOS version of the TikTok app. The feature is expected to roll out on TikTok for Android, but it's not clear when.
1. Tap Me in the bottom menu to go to your profile tab.
2. Tap the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner.
3. Under Content & Activity, tap Dark mode.
4. If you want dark mode on all the time, tap the Dark circle checkbox.
Alternatively, if you want TikTok to shift between dark and light mode according to your device's settings, tap the Use device settings button to turn it on.
