Hi guys! This video will show you how to fix Alt and Tab shortcut not working on Windows 10 HP laptop.
Method 1. Check your keyboard
- Connect another USB keyboard with your PC.
- Try Alt + Tab on the new-connected keyboard.
- If Alt + Tab works, then there might be some corrupted on your original keyboard.

Method 2: Modify AltTabSettings Registry values.
On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key + R (at the same time) to open the Run box.
Type regedit in the box and click OK.
Go to the following path:
Computer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer
Double-click on AltTabSettings in the Explorer section.
Proceed to set its Value Data to be 1 and click OK to save your setting.
Close the Registry Editor window and try to use Alt Tab shortcut keys to see if it works.

Method 3. Reinstall your keyboard driver.
Right click on Start menu and select Device Manager.
Find and expand Keyboards. Then right-click on your keyboard driver to choose Uninstall device.
Restart your computer to let Windows reinstall the keyboard driver for you.
