The game is set 5 years after its previous Borderlands title.
Handsome Jack, main antagonist, has taken the Hyperion corporation, and has proclaimed himself Pandora's dictator after having found "The Camera". The new group travels by train in search of the Chamber. But it turns out to be a trap of Jack because he wants to eliminate all the searchers of the camera, and the car where they are traveling turns out to be an explosive wagon, but the searchers survive this attack, when being rescued by Clap-Trap, they decide to continue with their search from the camera, and kill Jack and bring peace back to Pandora.
Borderlands 2 VR is now available for PlayStation®VR, bringing for the first time to VR the acclaimed shooter-looter that defined the genre.
Developed by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 2 VR presents the world of Pandora like never before. Players will become virtual in Buscacamaras, get a few weapons and will face Jack the Handsome, the most charming psychopathic dictator in the entire galaxy, all to free Pandora from the corrupted Hyperion corporation.
This version in RV will be exactly the same as the Borderlands 2 that we already know except for one important detail: only one can play alone. To that we must add the possibility of moving faster when dodging bullets or shooting 360 degrees thanks to a new function called BAMF Time, as well as the use of PlayStation Move to try to improve our aim. Or at least so that the RV experience is something more realistic than with a DualShock in the hands.
For now Borderlands 2 VR will be released for PS4 / PS VR next December 14th. We'll see when the version compatible with RV for PC ends up coming.
