The first opportunity to save Jacob is during Chapter 3, after the hunter releases him from the trap > while on the ground, you can throw dirt in the hunter's face to run away and get rid of him. But you should avoid doing this and instead, Jacob will have to splash blood on the werewolf's face, which will cover his scent for later.
The next opportunity occurs minutes later, when Ryan has the gun at the stake, at which point he will hear a whisper in the bushes. This is Jacob getting closer, so don't go shooting him,
For Chapter 8, Ryan and Laura will find Jacob inside a cage in the basement of the Hackett house, from which you will have to free him. To do this you will have to activate the correct switches to open the doors of the cage. We covered this in detail in a recent article, but the numbers are written on the cells: a three for Jacob and a five for the front door.
Your mission will be to change the switches to reach these numbers using the sums of the switches, so choose one and two, then two and three.
Once Jacob is free at home, you will not see again, but when he is alone in the forest.
This is everything you need to know about how to make Jacob survive in The Quarry, so we hope that we have been very helpful, and we hope that you can free Jacob from all the risks of death that he faces.
