How to fix Naomi getting stuck on Rita Barrett in The Good Life?

You will encounter this problem after the death in the village. After this William leaves the Town Hall and Naomi will want to follow him, but she gets stuck in Rita Barrett's because of a collision problem or incorrect paths for the AI. What this does is that Naomi can meet Rita, but she will not be able to move.

To correct this problem what you have to do is to press the back and jump buttons several times until Naomi takes off. The character model will move so much that she will be able to move past Rita to continue with the rest of the scene and the quest.
