We are still working on The Ascent and this allows us to tell you how to accept side missions.

What's the point of accepting side quests in The Ascent?

This game has for us different activities that it is not possible to put aside, it has a story that allows us to get involved in as much task as possible and that is where we manage to accept secondary missions, this is usually done when we manage to reach the Warrens level and obviously we reach the Cluster district 13.

Our job consists of reaching one of the green markers where we are presented with the possibility of having an NPC, who is precisely in charge of offering us a secondary mission.

It is good to keep in mind that the secondary missions allow us to earn the EXP necessary in the long term to level up, and these types of missions are usually optional.

  •  The secondary missions are usually accepted manually and for this it will be necessary to enter the menu, once this has occurred, it is necessary to go to "Maps and missions" where we are shown "Secondary missions", just press "A" or do click with the right button and proceed to choose the ones that we consider to carry out, this allows us to replace the main mission, to see the objectives of this type of missions it is necessary to take a look at our HUD below the minimap.
  • It should be noted that the level of the secondary mission is usually found next to the description of it, it is ideal that the missions do not have a higher level than ours, we must also bear in mind that it is only possible to have one secondary mission.

Definitely knowing how to accept side quests allows us to work on other tasks that need to be chosen manually and earn some long-term EXP in The Ascent.
