At the top right of the screen you will find the three-line icon which you will have to click on to access the game menu > press the Esc key to access the game menu, where you will find the Save option > click on it and name your new save file or type over a previously saved file > then select Confirm to save.

To load or modify a save file, you will have to go to the game menu.
