What is Starmancer?

It is the new construction and management simulation video game, which has been developed by Ominux Games and published by Chucklefish, for macOS, Linux and PC users, in early access on August 5, 2021. Considering that the game was released in early access, the developers released a tutorial for users to understand a little more about the game, however, it was a very poor tutorial that did not allow to understand one of the key tasks to complete at the beginning of the game, which is to place Metal in the Analyzer to repair the Warp Drive. Fortunately, this time we are going to tell you how to put metal in the analyzer.

How to put metal in the analyzer in Starmancer?

The first thing you need to do if you are wondering how to put metal in the analyzer is to get Metal, which you will already know how to do if you completed the AI task in the game. The tutorial will tell you to place it in the Analyzer and will give you generic instructions on how to do it.


To do this, you will need to start by teaching a character to pick up some Metal. Start this by clicking on a character that is willing to carry items > find the Command Override icon at the bottom right of the character's menu and press it > then you will need to click on an object that contains some metal > choose Pick Item > choose Metal, then place it in the Analyzer. This is done in the same way you would command a character to do anything else.

That is, select the character > Command Override > click on the Analyzer, which will have a green arrow if you are doing this for the tutorial > click on Place Item > select Metal to have the task marked as completed, and subsequently be able to activate the Warp Drive in Starmancer.
