How to get the Weird Nut artifact in Stalker 2
There are very few rare legendary artifacts in Stalker 2, and the Weird Nut is among them. It is the most effective artifact in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone for preventing bleeding, and it is said to be an altered object that is revered by Stalkers. It takes more effort to get the Weird Nut than it does to get common artifacts like the Whirlwind or Liquid Rock. Here, you'll learn where to find the Weird Nut in Stalker 2.
How to get the Weird Nut artifact in Stalker 2?
You can get Weird Nut from going to the anomalous area in the Cooling Towers region known as Fire Whirl, found way to the northeast of the Zone. Inside, a raging tornado awaits you-applying up to it results in your death. It also has a tendency to ebb and flow, which can be lethal if you're within its radius. Towards the very peak of the structure, accessible by an elevated bridge, is the Weird Nut. To reach it, you'll need to navigate some perilous platforming. You will likely die at least twice, so you may want to save often.
Find a metal tower with a ladder on its southern side; that's where you'll begin. Turn right around the tower's perimeter until you reach a small ladder that, when turned left, leads to a low platform. Once the whirlwind dies down and the ladder stops glowing, you can climb it once, and then the longer one twice to get to the top platform.
At the very peak, turn left. Hop across gaps as you circle around the tower's perimeter until you reach a metal bridge leading across to the building's center. Save again here. Hold your breath until Fire Whirl engulfs and incinerates the bridge. When the orange light shuts off, sprint across the bridge. Leap your way across to the other side, hopping from beam to beam, or sometimes small platforms, trying not to fall off.
Finally, at the far end, make a right and hop across the big concrete slabs to a metal bridge pulling you toward the Fire Whirl in the center of the tower. This is another good place to save your game. Once the whirl has inflated and subsided, head on across the bridge as the orange light dies. Drop down to the metal platform below as the bridge concludes. Seated on the edge of the precipice is the Weird Nut. Grab it and head down to the station below and then to the one below that. Dodge the tower by heading down to the ground level.

Legendary versions of artefacts don't always have the pros and cons explained for you. In the case of the Weird Nut, the description says it all: "Eerily cold to the touch, this unusual nut promotes rapid blood coagulation when attached to your belt, though the wounds themselves take longer to heal."
