Stalker 2: How to find the Duga Journalist Stash

If you head southwest on the map, past the Burnt Forest region, you'll find the cache in the Duga region. There are a lot of guards at the base. The cache contains a SEVA-1 Suit that may provide high PSI protection as well as a loaded "SA-U GABION" Rifle. Be careful to arm yourself with a strong shotgun and a sniper rifle before entering the facility so you can eliminate any adversaries you encounter.

Safely access the Duga Base through the southern entrance. Here is the perfect entrance: a modest gate that isn't guarded. Once inside, head toward the warehouse while hugging the right-hand buildings. Snipers positioned in the watchtowers can kill you with a single shot, so stay away from open areas and the main gate. You should probably save your game before heading into the warehouse.

The warehouse is home to a Burer, a lethal mutant from Stalker 2. To hunt its victims, this mutant uses its telepathic powers. It uses force fields to ward you off and, if your stamina is low, it will yank your gun from your hand. To remain safe, take cover and keep your distance.

Rapidly eliminate the Burer by shooting him in the head or firing multiple accurate sniper shots from a safe distance. You won't enjoy having to save your game more than once after you defeat the Burer since this dollar store Yoda isn't fun.

• Start the power plant: Start the generator that is located near the cell in front of the containers to provide power back to the warehouse.
• Gain entry to the command center: Make a U-turn, continue forward, and ascend to the control room. To open the cell doors from inside, use the red button on the console.

Go back to the cell that is now open to get your rewards:

• The "SA-U GABION" Rifle-loaded with ammunition.
• To the left of the cache, in a locker, you'll find the "SEVA-1" suit.
• Get out of here safely by going back the way you came and going out the southern gate. Snipers will be triggered if you get near the main entrance, therefore stay away from it.
