This is one of the many puzzles that you will have to complete in the game and for which you will have to work hard, since you will have to complete it in order to advance in the story of the game. To start the M-047 challenge, Sonic will have to run a Cyloop around a structure that looks like a vertical dispenser. After activating the Cyloop, two floating rings with a blue orb will appear.

In order to complete it you will have to throw the blue orb at the two floating rings within the time limit. The tricky thing is that the orb is affected by gravity after Sonic propels it towards the rings.

The puzzle orb will reset several moments after being thrown, so you won't need to send the ball through both rings at once. The challenge comes from trying to get the orb through the hoops of Sonic's attack.

For everything to work out, you'll need to start Sonic's search attack differently to get the orbs through the rings.

To hit the ball through the lower ring you will have to jump and attack, so that the orb is propelled at an angle downwards.

For the higher ring avoid jumping, and instead you will have to hit the orb from the ground, so that the ball follows an arcing path, sending it through the upper ring.
