Unlocking the Maxin 1910 Suppressor: A Step-by-Step Guide
Your journey to silent sniping begins
during the second mission of the campaign, "Dead Drop." The key to
unlocking the Maxin 1910 Suppressor lies in locating a Rifle Workbench.
- Locate the Manor: The Rifle Workbench you need is situated in the southwest corner of the map, within a manor located near the graveyard.
- Unlock the Suppressor:
Interact with the Rifle Workbench to access the Rifle Customization
menu. Simply accessing the workbench for the first time will unlock the Maxin 1910 Suppressor.
- Secure the Area: As
you approach the manor, be aware of patrolling enemies. There's also a
Nazi soldier on the first floor of the building itself. It's highly
recommended to eliminate these threats before attempting to enter.
- Enter the Manor: You
can access the first floor of the manor via the stairs on the side of
the building or by climbing onto the boxes at the front entrance.
- Eliminate the Guard: Once inside on the first floor, take out the remaining Nazi soldier patrolling the area.
- Acquire the Bolt Cutters: On a bench to the right of the entrance, you'll find a pair of Bolt
Cutters. These are essential for accessing the workbench, so make sure
you pick them up.
- Access the Workbench:
You'll see a locked metal door. You can either pick the lock (if you
have the skill) or use the Bolt Cutters to break it open. Inside this
room, you'll find your first Rifle Workbench.
Equipping the Suppressor: Customizing Your Rifle
Now that you've unlocked the suppressor, you need to equip it to your sniper rifle.
The Maxin 1910 Suppressor: Your First Step to Silent Takedowns
The Maxin 1910 Suppressor is your first foray into silent sniping in Sniper Elite: Resistance. While it doesn't completely eliminate gunshot
sounds, it significantly reduces them – roughly halving the default
sound. This reduction is often enough to keep you undetected, allowing
you to eliminate targets discreetly and maintain your stealth advantage. Remember, even with a suppressor, careful positioning and timing are
