To get them to move you will have to feed them, and when you manage to make them move, you will have to find the cotton slime at the southern end of Rainbow Fields.

Upon arrival, the Slime will park and the only way to move it is to feed it vegetables until you manage to make it explode.

The Cotton Gordo will allow you to get to a cave, with a device on the back, which you will have to interact with.

Interact with it and a teleporter will appear on the beach at the southern end of the island. You should see a bright light directing you to your location. Head over there and now you can explore Starlight Strand.
