If you have to deal with this you will need to right click on the first aid kit > select Antiemetic (the pink pill that relieves the feeling of nausea) and give it to the poisoned survivor to heal.

The key to avoiding food poisoning is to have survivors cook food before eating it and clean the shelter frequently.
