How to Access the Void Fields via the Null Portal

The gateway to the Void Fields is known as the Null Portal, a mysterious vortex that doesn't appear randomly on the map. To reach it, you must first gain entry to the Bazaar Between Time.

Spawn a Blue Portal: The most reliable method is to find a Newt Altar hidden somewhere in the stage environment. Activating it costs a small amount of gold. After you complete the Teleporter event, a Blue Portal will appear, which you can access for one Lunar Coin.

Enter the Bazaar: Jump into the Blue Portal to arrive at the Bazaar Between Time.

Locate the Null Portal: Head to the center of the Bazaar and look down into the large, bottomless pit. Carefully descend to the very bottom. There, you will find the Null Portal—a swirling mass of purple and red energy. Interacting with it will transport you directly to the Void Fields.

• The Only Safe Haven: The only protection is found within the nine glowing cells, each of which generates a protective dome. While inside, you are safe from the fog, but you must defeat all enemies that spawn to "stabilize" the cell.

Pro-Tip: The game's difficulty timer is completely paused for as long as all players remain inside a cell's dome. This allows you to tackle the challenge without the threat of the difficulty ramping up to impossible levels.

• Strategy: Transitions between domes become perilous. Use movement abilities todash from one safe zone to the next. Prioritize enemies that can slow or immobilize you.

Phase 3: Cells 7-9 (The Final Gauntlet)

• Enemies & Loot: This is the ultimate test. Enemies can now spawn with powerful red-tier items, and you may encounter deadly elite variants. Your perseverance is rewarded with a red-tier item from the final Void Potential.
• Strategy: Do not get greedy. Focus on survival and crowd control. Once the ninthcell is stabilized, the Void Fog permanently dissipates, allowing you to explore safely.

Victory and What Comes Next

After conquering the ninth cell, you have two main options:

Exit and Continue: You can leave the Void Fields and continue your run, now significantly more powerful from your nine new items.

Challenge the Voidling (DLC Required): If you own the Survivors of the Void expansion, a new portal will appear. This leads to the Void Locus and,eventually, the Planetarium, where you can face the supreme secret boss, the Voidling.
