How to Reach the Throne Room
The first step to reaching the throne room is to unlock the double doors located at the entrance of the castle. To do this, the player must combine a crank and a broken chain found around the castle with a handle located near the door. Once the door is unlocked, the player can proceed to the throne room.
The second step is to navigate to the hole in the basement. This is done by solving a few puzzles scattered throughout the castle. Once the player has reached the hole in the basement, they can proceed to the throne room.
Defacing Ramon's Portrait
Once the player has reached the throne room, they can begin the task of defacing Ramon's portrait. The portrait is located on the wall at the back of the room. To deface the portrait, the player can either use a regular egg or a gold egg.
- Using an Egg: Using a regular egg is the most straightforward option. The player simply needs to throw the egg at the portrait, which will cause the paint to splatter on the wall and deface the portrait.
- Using the Gold Egg: Using the gold egg is a little more complicated, but still simple. The player needs to locate a painting of an eagle in the throne room, then throw the gold egg at it. Doing so will cause the painting to break and the gold egg will then be able to break the portrait.
Defacing Ramon's portrait in Resident Evil 4 Remake is a simple task that requires the player to unlock the double doors at the castle entrance and navigate to the hole in the basement. Once in the throne room, the player can use either a regular egg or a gold egg to deface the portrait. Doing so will complete the Disgrace of the Salazar Family quest and will symbolically punish Ramon for his wrongdoings.
