Clockwork Castellans are a special type of enemy found in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. They are heavily armored and can be very difficult to take down. They are also very rare and can take many forms, from giant clockwork machines to small and agile clockwork dolls. As such, they are a valuable asset to any player who is looking for an extra challenge.

Clockwork Castellans Locations in Resident Evil 4 Remake



The locations of all of the Clockwork Castellans in Resident Evil 4 Remake are as follows:

  • 1. Lakeside Settlement: Visit Town Hall in the Village first. Enter the building through the main door, turn left and locate a couple of boxes on the shelving against the wall. Eliminate the Viper found in one of these boxes and then head to the Village Church. Go up the small stairs around the Church and enter the small room. Break the crate on the table to your right and quickly kill the Viper. Collect the Viper and travel to the Fish Farm. Reach the small wooden platform at the point in the third image and break a few wooden crates and barrels. Take out the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 2. North of the Abandoned Factory: Go north from the factory and head towards the secret door. Look for a small entrance near the secret door and then break the crates and barrels you find there. Inside you will find the Clockwork Castellan.
  • 3. Near the Waterside, Merchant: Visit the Merchant at the Waterside and look for a secret passage near the Merchant’s tent. Go down the passage, break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Once done, collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 4. Behind Lakeside Settlement Insignia Door: Look for a small door near the Lakeside Settlement Insignia. Destroy the crates and barrels and then kill the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 5. Inside Village Chief House: Go to the Village Chief’s House and look for a small door near the entrance. Break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 6. North of the villa: Go north from the villa and look for a secret passage. Break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 7. Upper Treasury: Go to the Upper Treasury and look for a secret passage. Break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 8. Castle Battlements: Go to the Castle Battlements and look for a secret passage. Break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 9. Courtyard Maze: Go to the Courtyard Maze and look for a secret passage. Break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
  • 10. Sewer out of the depth: Go to the Sewer out of the depth and look for a secret passage. Break the crates and barrels and then eliminate the Viper. Collect the Viper and store it in your inventory.
