How to get All levels in PEAK

In PEAK, players must navigate through five distinct levels to escape the island after a crash landing. Each level presents unique environmental challenges and requires specific strategies, which can vary depending on difficulty, solo or multiplayer mode, and resource availability. This guide focuses on a solo player perspective on "Peak" difficulty, offering insights into each stage of the arduous climb.

PEAK : How to get All levels

There are five levels to complete in PEAK:

Shore

Tropics

Alpine

Caldera

The Kiln

Shore Level Guide

The Shore is your starting point, a beach littered with plane wreckage and luggage. Your initial objective is to climb the prominent mountain in the distance.

• Early Resources: This level is ideal for gathering crucial early resources. Look for luggage containing rope, food, and bandages. You can also find Bing Bong and a Bugle, which are optional for Steam achievements.
• Backpack and Flare: Grab the nearby backpack to expand your inventory. Avoid the flare unless you're playing on Ascent 4 difficulty or higher, as it's not essential for lower difficulties and can be a distraction. For your first playthrough, focus on the backpack and basic supplies.
• Study the Guidebook: Always make sure to study the guidebook found at the start. It contains vital information, especially about identifying edible vs. poisonous mushrooms in later levels.
• Environmental Hazards:
  • Jellyfish: Avoid stepping on jellyfish scattered across the beach; they will poison you.
  • Purple Plants: As you approach the mountain, beware of purple plants, which also inflict poison. Climb around them to conserve stamina.
• Resource Management: Collect enough food to satiate hunger, but don't overstock. Food is generally plentiful across levels. Prioritize essential climbing gear like rope cannons and pitons, and keep an eye out for rare legendary items.
• General Strategy: The Shore has no major weather conditions, allowing for careful exploration and looting. Utilize bridges when available, as they can lead to useful spots. Maintain your stamina and avoid unnecessary damage from environmental hazards or falls.
• Completion: Upon reaching the mountain's summit, you'll find an Ancient Statue (granting a free legendary item), a campfire, and additional luggage. Take a moment to rest and prepare for the next level.

Tropics Level Guide

The Tropics is a dense, lush forest area, presenting a more challenging navigation experience after the Shore.

• Terrain: The terrain here is more complex, with a new variety of poisonous plants and the introduction of explosive bushes (which deal poison damage and push you back).
• Vines: Use the plentiful vines for easier traversal. They allow for horizontal movement and can help navigate difficult sections.
• Mushrooms: You'll find various mushrooms. Some are edible, providing hunger andstamina boosts, while others are poisonous and can quickly end your run. Refer back to the guidebook from the Shore to identify safe vs.toxic mushrooms. Poisoned consumables often have a slightly differentappearance, possibly tinged with purple or green.
• General Strategy: The core strategy remains similar to the Shore: climb upwards, utilizevines for efficient movement, and ensure you have climbing supplies like rope cannons readily available. The legendary item acquired from theAncient Statue can be a game-changer here, potentially offeringtemporary infinite stamina or injury cures.
• Weather: Be aware that it can rain in the Tropics, making wet surfaces slippery. While short climbs on wet surfaces are manageable, consider waiting out longer rain periods to conserve stamina.

Alpine Level Guide

The Alpine is a tundra environment characterized by snowstorms and treacherous icy terrain, demanding more vertical climbing than previous levels.

• Weather Hazards: Blizzards will periodically hit, freezing your character and significantly reducing your stamina until they pass.
• Food Scarcity: Food sources are less common here. Look for Winterberry bushes and trees, which are the primary food source in this biome.
• Heat Packs: Heat packs become available in luggage in this area. While they don't fully negate blizzards, they accelerate stamina recovery, making survival possible.You'll need to actively hunt for these.
• Difficult Terrain: Navigation is challenging due to icy obstacles and ice spikes jutting from the mountain. There are no vines or bridges. Be cautiousof dark blue patches of terrain, which inflict Frostbite upon contact.
• Looting: Even treacherous ice spikes can hide luggage bags at their tips; check them carefully.
• Capybara Hot Spring: Keep an eye out for an adorable surprise: capybaras chilling in a hot spring. Not only are they part of a Steam achievement, but the hot spring also offers temporary refuge from Frostbite.
• Lantern: If you carried the Lantern from the plane wreckage, it can be activated in Alpine to light up areas and reduce cold.

Caldera Level Guide

Caldera is a challenging volcanic level characterized by lava and scarce luggage, demanding precise movement and resource management.

• Lava Hazards: The defining feature is the rising and falling lava levels. You can sometimes run across exposed red rocks when the lava recedes,but this will inflict burning damage. Direct contact with lava resultsin instant death.
• Resource Scarcity: Luggage bags are few and far between, making it crucial to manage your inventory and rely on collected items like pitons and chain launchers.
• Traversal: This level focuses less on vertical climbing and more on horizontaltraversal across the jagged, fiery landscape. You'll need to use yourparkour skills to navigate between platforms and utilize chains forcrossing gaps.
• Strategy: Your main objective is to minimize burning damage while moving towards the volcano on the other side of the map. Look for chains to cross large lava pools safely.
• Ascent to The Kiln: As you near the volcano, you'll encounter a black brick structure toclimb, leading to another Ancient Statue, a luggage batch, and theentrance to the final level: The Kiln.

The Kiln Level Guide

The Kiln is the final level, located inside the volcano you just scaled. Itshares environmental similarities with Caldera but shifts back tovertical climbing.

• Environment: Expect a landscape dominated by hot stones, flowing lava, and difficult, unforgiving terrain.
• Vertical Ascent: Unlike Caldera's horizontal progression, The Kiln is a massive pit that requires a careful and sustained climb upwards.
• Endurance Test: Ledges for resting and luggage for looting are extremely scarce. Thislevel is primarily an endurance test, demanding careful staminamanagement and precise climbing until you reach the very top and escapethe island.
• Item Usage: This is where savingboosting consumables like Energy Drinks or Lollipops, and especiallyChain Launchers, becomes critical for overcoming particularly difficultsections.
