How to unlock Program X in Outlast Trials

Before we jump into how to unlock Program X, let's take a moment to understand what it is. Program X is an experimental program that was developed by the Murkoff Corporation, the main antagonist in Outlast Trials. The program is designed to control human behavior and can be used to create mindless soldiers. Players will need to unlock Program X to gain a better understanding of the Murkoff Corporation's plans and ultimately defeat them.

The first step in unlocking Program X is understanding the requirements. You must complete all three trials in order to access this program. Each trial has specific objectives that must be completed. Here are the objectives for each trial:

Now that you understand the objectives for each trial, let's discuss some tips for completing them. We recommend starting with the easiest difficulty setting and working your way up to the highest. This will help you get a feel for the objectives and give you a chance to practice before tackling the harder difficulties.

For Trial 1, we recommend using stealth to avoid detection from the security guards. You can hide behind objects and use distractions to keep them away from your location. Additionally, you should explore every room and corner to find the keycard and collect all 10 documents.

In Trial 2, escaping the laboratory can be challenging. Make sure you have a clear path to the exit before activating the generator. Collecting all 5 chemical components will require you to explore the laboratory thoroughly. Make sure to check every room and cabinet.

Trial 3 is the most challenging of the three. Disabling the security system can be tricky, as it requires you to find and hack multiple terminals. Once you activate the quarantine protocol, you will need to survive for 10 minutes. We recommend using traps and distractions to keep the enemies at bay.

If you're struggling to complete all objectives, prioritize them in order of importance. For example, in Trial 3, it's more important to disable the security system and activate the quarantine protocol than it is to collect all the resources.

Once you've successfully completed all objectives for each trial, you will unlock Program X. This program provides various benefits, such as access to new areas and weapons. Keep practicing and experimenting until you're able to successfully complete all objectives and unlock Program X.
