Recall that Valve previously worked with HTC on the HTC Vive and is allowing to use the existing Vive drivers or sensors of the base station if you already have them, in its Valve Index VR headphones which will be priced at almost $ 500.

The Valve Index VR promises to be the most powerful headphones on the market, will have a RGB LCD screen of 1,440 x 1,600 pixels resolution for each eye, a super fast refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a field of vision that says Valve It's 20 degrees, also the widest of the competition.

This could help decrease the so-called ghost effect produced when you move your head in virtual reality.

There is also an IPD slider to adjust the distance between the lenses and your eyes, as well as the built-in speakers that hover over your ears.

A 3.5 mm audio input was included in the design to add its own audio hardware.

The complete Valve Index VR package will have custom drivers, with no less than 87 sensors to track the position of your hands and fingers.

Valve has recommended using a PC with good features to use their headphones, Windows 10, SteamOS or Linux with at least 8 GB of RAM, dual core processor and a minimum of one Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD RX480 is recommended to enhance the images , a not so simple pileup.

This ends up making the Valve Index VR positions at a very expensive end to enjoy them leaving on the table other options such as Oculus Quest, which does not need a PC and has a price of $ 399.

Valve has also announced that they will launch games soon.
