"We defined an off-topic review bomb where the focus of those reviews is on a subject that we consider unrelated to the likelihood that future buyers will be happy if they buy the game, and therefore it is not something that needs to be added. to the Review Score "

Valve said there was still a gray area with this definition, so he was working on a tool which "identifies any anomaly review activity in all games on Steam as close as possible to real time."

Valve said that after the tool was reviewed, if there were aspects that could cause problems, they would be investigated.

If the company decides that user reviews are an off-topic pump, it would let the developer know that all revisions within the time period of the revision pump will be removed from the Steam score.

But it was also announced that developers who do not agree with this process can not participate if they enter the Steam Store.
