Teradek had already made a great contribution to the field of wireless video transmission with its current top-of-the-line system, Bolt 1000, which is capable of transmitting video signals with latency 0 at a resolution of 1080p at 60 fps, up to a distance of 1000 feet. However, with the new Teradek Bolt 4K, this technology company significantly improves the technology of wireless video transmission.
Some characteristics and details of the Teradek Bolt 4K
Teradek Bolt 4K transmits HDR 4: 2: 2 10-bit video at a range of up to 1,500 feet of line of sight over the 5 GHz band without a license. This transmission is performed without competition and with a latency of 0, becoming the first device with this capacity. In addition, the Teradek Bolt 4K allows multicasting up to 6 receivers, simultaneously.
The receivers of the Teradek Bolt 4K have double 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, while their receivers have two 12G-SDI outputs and one HDMI 2.0 output. In addition to having a compatibility with the time code and the brands of the main camera manufacturers, including RED, ARRI, Canon, Sony and Panasonic.
