Alien: Blackout probably disappointed those who anxiously awaited the successor of Alien: Isolation, as well as the new news that comes to us about the franchise. Far from being an exploration and stealth title, the next license-based game that began with the Ridley Scott movie will be a "massive multiplayer shooter."

The Cold Iron studio, owned by Twentieth Century Fox, owner of the name, is in charge of this new game, which is already spoken openly on its website. According to what you can read, they are still hiring personnel for their development, so the next news will probably be expected.

The information is not much more, except the confirmation that the game Alien: Blackout will reach both the consoles and the PC. Undoubtedly, this is a completely different proposal to the one offered by The Creative Assembly almost five years ago with the previous game, that was very well received because it captures both the space environment and the tension of encounters with the xenomorph. It is surprising to see the radical turn that has been decided with the franchise, although a game like Destiny with the configuration is something that does not sound so bad.

Either way, the most immediate thing is Alien: Blackout, the surprising announcement of this mobile game in which to survive an alien that stalks both its protagonist and the rest of the team. We do not know if it will be in this or the shooter that we are talking about, where Amanda Ripley will have a prominent place, since FoxNext, the division specializing in video games, has already shown great interest in continuing with the story of the daughter of the legendary Now Ellen Ripley.
The developers of A Blackout have insisted on pointing out that although they share the same protagonist and in part the plot this new release at no time is a continuation of the already known alien isolation being at no time a kind of "alien isolation review" and they want it leave well marked to avoid creating false expectations in the gamer community

They have also announced that Amanda Ripley will be back but this time they only have in their plans the launch of the videogame for the mobile platforms of Iphone and IOS and this will be in charge of the studio Rival Games
