A few days before the premiere of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch, the creator of the game Masahiro Sakurai gave statements to the Japanese magazine Famitsu to give some interesting aspects of the game, such as the Day 1 patch or the reason why Kirby is the protagonist of this adventure. The presentation trailer of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Adventure mode kept the excitement until the last minute to see if any of the 74 heroes of the game was able to escape the rays with which Lumina finally managed to catch each of them. All except Kirby, the survivor of The World of Lost Stars. Is it the strongest character in Nintendo's history?

Why Kirby? Although the reason was obvious, one of the reasons for his choice is because Sakurai was the one who created this character, therefore, in a situation in which he would have to choose a single character and exceptional survivor, his choice would be that. But it has also justified it, since its ability to meander at full speed on its star and its teleportation between worlds is a real advantage. Palutena and Bayonetta, who also travel to other dimensions, could not do it because their enemies had already become spirits. Another reason is that Kirby is easy to control and so everyone can start Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and not just the experts.

The update of the launch day, December 7, mentions that it will serve to guarantee that there are no desynchronizations with other players. It is good to point out that online multiplayer is surely Nintendo's biggest challenge with this title and the main attraction for many users to join the Nintendo Switch Online service.
