If you want to know how to emote in Stardew Valley stay, because here we have everything covered.

What is the Emoting function of Stardew Valley?

The function is part of patch 1.4 and what it does is give players around you an idea of how your character feels, as well as the actions you want them to portray during the game. In total there are 8 emotes and they are the following:

  • Yes.
  • No.
  • Happy.
  • Sad.
  • Angry.
  • Pause.
  • Question.
  • Heart.

The truth is the function is quite easy to use, what you have to do first is to access the Emote menu by pressing the Y key on PC. You can hover over these to know exactly what they do and then select the one you want to use.

To change the access key to the emote menu you will have to press the Esc key and touch the icon of the controller, on the right side and then look for the option "Emoticon menu: Y", press on set and select the new key for this function.

So far these are the only emotes that we can find in the game and it is not known if there may be more in the future, although in that case at least you will already know how to emote in Stardew Valley and how to see what the new emotes do.
