The Star Wars MMO The Old Republic premiered in 2011 and since then it is still an exciting one.


The seventh expansion of the game and the first since Knights of the Eternal Throne of 2016, has been announced. Called Onslaught, the expansion will arrive in September.

The description of the new expansion says:


"Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught places you at the center of the war that resumed between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire."


"Will he remain loyal to his faction or will he work to undermine and sabotage his war effort? The choice is his."


Called "Onslaught", it is the seventh expansion of the Old Republic; follow Rise of the Hutt 2013 poster, Galactic Starfighter 2014, Galactic Strongholds 2014, Shadow Revan 2014, Knights of the Fallen Empire 2015 and Knights of the Eternal Trone 2016.


Onslaught will add two new planets, a new flash point and a new operation, and more skills, while the level limit increases with the expansion as well.


Fans will have the possibility to travel to Onderon and Mek-Sha among other places.


The new Flashpoint, which is the version of a dungeon of The Old Republic, is set in Corellia.


A new Operation takes place on the largest moon Onderon, Dxun.





The developer said:


"Our philosophy for this expansion is to play your way."


"Objects have always been an important part of your character's identity, but for the first time we offer true depth and choice with new and interesting elements that allow you to decide how to play in the next battle."





In addition, the update will also have a new type of gear slot available in the update in the form of tactical elements according to BioWare who has said:



"These building definition elements directly alter your skills and style of play, and by taking these new elements, players can combine them with numerous new set bonuses to choose from, including general sets that can be used by everyone."


You can get the new sets in PvE, PvP, Galactic Command or Crafting.


Onslaught can be acquired for free by the subscribers of the Old Republic, but a price has not been released for the rest of the players.
