Where to find Gustav Spiritfarer?

To find Gustav you must go to the city of Furogawa. Once in town, go upstairs and pass some buildings. You will notice someone in a reddish brown hood standing in front of a house.

You'll know he's the right person if the outline of the spirit above them seems a bit more intricate and detailed than any of the normal NPCs.

You will have to talk to Gustav himself to start the mission "Five Views of Mount Furogawa". and by following the instructions provided to you, it will eventually require you to go to specific coordinates on the map that lead to Susan's Museum north of Furogawa.

To get here, you will need the Icebreaker upgrade which requires 10 Iron Ingots, 12 Oak Planks, 18 Linen Weaves, 1 Spirit Flower, and 5 Slates. Check out this guide if you need help finding a spirit flower.

Once in Susan's Museum, you will need the Double Jump ability to get to the ladder. You probably already have the ability at this point, but if not, you can find it at the Hummingburg shrine.

Once you talk to Susan, go back to Gustav in Furogawa. After a short chat, Gustav will join your crew.
