Pokemon Unite: How to chat - Ultimate Guide

What is Pokemon Unite?

It is the multiplayer online battle arena genre video game, which has been developed by TiMi Studios and published by The Pokémon Company for Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch mobile device users. Considering that it is a multiplayer video game, you will want to chat with your teammates to plan strategies and get victories, so pay attention because that is what we are already going to teach you how to do.

How to chat in Pokemon Unite?

In the game, you can find two ways of communication, before and during the match.

If you want to chat in the preparation screen, what you have to do is to press the switch > then select your preferred message. Near the end of the list, you will be able to choose the direction you will take, either up or down route. Your teammates will know where you are going and will plan accordingly. You can also say what type of player you will be as a defender or attacker or just say hello.

If you are already in a game, all you have to do is press up on the D-Pad, which will raise a wheel, and you can say "Need backup", "Headed to upper path", "Headed to center area" and "Headed to lower path". This will also allow you to organize with other players and say that your last move is ready.

The green shield > tells other players to retreat from an area of the map.

The red fist > means attack.
