Daybreak Games announces PlanetSide Arena, a new multiplayer FPS that will include battle royale mode. The project will bring a multiplayer shooter that will have all kinds of modalities. Starting from the battle royale modality until death battles by teams, dividing into groups of three people and even a massive war confrontation for two sides called Massive Clash that reaches 500 players in teams of 250 people each.

The map will be 8x8 (based on Amerish from PlanetSide 2) and the three character classes will be able to use jetpacks and invoke vehicles to navigate through it. Its creators want a slower, battle-focused BR, so players will have a shield that will prevent them from dying quickly.

The third installment of the PlanetSide franchise will be launched with three modes: 1.- Battle Royale: only (100 people). 2.- Trios (102 people). 3.- 250v250. Later in the future you will receive modes far from the BR, such as Destroy or Deathmatch by Teams, Search and Capture the Flag. These modes will arrive in the following seasons of the game, where we will have a free pass that will allow obtaining "planes" of weapons or objects to take them later to combat and a payment pass with cosmetic elements. When you buy the game, the payment pass of the current season will be activated automatically.

PlanetSide Arena will be released on January 29 on PC.
