Notre Dame Cathedral Could Be Rebuilt Thanks to Assassin’s Creed: Unity - Ultimate Guide

Could the Notre Dame Cathedral  be reconstructed using Assassin's Creed: Unity ?.

More than a religious symbol, it is an architectural and historical symbol, many centuries of history, French and European, burned yesterday in Paris.

Simply an unfortunate fact, a fire in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Pariz, caused the collapse of the roof and the tower.

It is expected that the building dating from 1163 will be restored as close as possible to how it was before the fire.

Architects and builders involved in the reconstruction project are already studying several photos and videos of the cathedral to recreate them as faithfully and as carefully as possible.

Even the Unity game engine is in Paris, and for those who do not know Unity has a really impressive recreation of the Notre Dame cathedral. It is this digital version of the incredibly well-kept building that could be invaluable in rebuilding the Parisian icon.





Ubisoft does not tend to skimp when it comes to recreating cities and reference points in their games, so they will surely put everything in their hands for the reconstruction project since their version of Notre Dame is the most detailed and similar to the real one up to the moment.




Unity artist Caroline Miousse said she worked with texture artists to make sure that "every brick was as it should be" in her own words, she also told The Verge some time ago that the Ubisoft version of Notre Dame was easily the largest building in the game, and that spent "literally years worrying about the details of the building".
