Nioh, Team Ninja's excellent action RPG, has reached a new sales milestone.

Nioh's sales have exceeded 2.5 million worldwide through PC and PS4. Koei Tecmo revealed the news today on the second anniversary of the game.

The news came through the official Twitter account of Koei Tecmo Europe. To announce this new milestone, the company published a celebration tweet, and even Kodama loves attention. Check out below:

The last time Nioh's sales numbers were revealed, the title had just reached two million copies sold. These figures are from May 2018, which means that sales remain stable. The full edition of Nioh, which was released in December 2017 on PS4, and the disclosure of Nioh 2 during E3 2018, are likely to contribute to continued interest in the game. Of course, all this has also been great for the business of Koei Tecmo. In January 2019, the publisher noted that the sales of the Complete Edition were an integral part of the success of his business in the third quarter of the fiscal year of 2018.
