Unfortunately NES and SNES Classic Mini will go out of circulation once their stock is depleted. Nintendo has been by far the company that has focused most on nostalgia and taking advantage of old memories of the old consoles, with the arrival of NES Classic Mini and SNES Classic Mini. Unfortunately it has been confirmed that the company does not plan to continue with the production of these classic consoles. The sales of these will end once their existing stock is depleted, which means that this Christmas campaign will be one of the last opportunities for users to acquire any of these consoles.

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aimé has confirmed that the company will stop manufacturing these models stating the following: "We have already made it clear that, at least in America, these products will be available during the Christmas campaign and, once their stock is depleted, they will no longer be manufactured. " He also explained that, "the way in which users can play Nintendo classics will be through the Nintendo Switch online service."

In Nintendo, they consider the online service of its hybrid console as the main method through which users can play traditional content of the brand. a large number of titles belonging to classic Nintendo consoles are currently available to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch online service.  For his part, the executive also ruined the hopes for the launch of a possible Nintendo 64 Classic, as he said that the current products are "the maximum range of our family of Classic products."
